SPEL Semiconductor Limited conducted the Kumbhabishekam Ceremony for its Sri Selva Vinayagar Temple located within its Factory premises. The function was held on Sunday Sep 17, 2023. Several Stakeholders of SPEL graced the occasion with their esteemed presence with us.
SPEL’s Sri Selva Vinayagar Temple was constructed during Jun 1994. Kumbhabhishekam literally means pouring of sacred water (from holy rivers) over the Vigrahas (Deities) and the Temple Gopuram (Tower). Kumbhabhishekam is also the process of enabling divine powers arise on the concerned Deities. This process is believed to keep the Vigrahas rejuvenated for a period of 12 years.
